Steve, the owner of NFJ Music, has a rich and varied history with music. In his own words, “I am unbelievably blessed ! I have been involved in working bands virtually nonstop since I was 15 years old. Another blessing is that all of those bands were successful. By that I mean that we played often, had a following, were received well by other musicians and even made a little money along the way.

 During my college years, one of those bands was Shylock. After Shylock, I started a 13 year run with WEBZ where I met Mark Grosz. Mark led me back to church and we were involved in PWT, one of the first contemporary Christian outreach bands in Central Pa. I was tapped to lead the music portion of a contemporary worship service. 1st Things First not only did the services for 9 years, but also played nearly 50 outreach venues. Producing the CD " YOU DID " ( still available on CD Baby.com ) was one of the   highlights and learning experiences from being in that band.” NFJ Music was originally founded as a label for the YOU DID album. Since then Steve has expanded NFJ Music into a valuable resource for Live Sound and DJ Services within Central PA’s Christian and secular markets. Steve also enjoys playing bass guitar for the band Second Time Thru throughout Central Pa.  

When he’s not in Nashville, Dan joins our team as an audio technician. Specializing in Sound Reinforcement, Dan works hard to insure that every job our Pro Sound and DJ Services work has proper equipment, experienced operators, and level of professionalism to provide excellent sound and professional quality to the event. Dan has been mixing for area bands, including 1^st Things First and Second Time Thru, for over 7 years. He is also experienced in theater sound design and operation, having run audio for over 16 musicals or plays in various area venues. Currently, Dan is studying Audio Engineering Technology at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. 

Joe Hines, also known as Dj Joe Cool, runs our DJ Service and joins our Sound Reinforcement team as an audio technician. Joe is a graduate of Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School and plans on attending Messiah College in the fall to major in Mechanical Engineering. According to Joe “Dj'ing has always been a passion of mine because I love to have a good time, but also get the job done right. If you are looking for a party that will leave you with fun and exciting memories, but won't break the piggy bank, then you have come to the right place. I look forward to working for you.” In addition to DJ’ing Joe has led audio crews for several theatrical productions at Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School and served as a technical advisor and audio technician for the school’s TV studio.
